The senior women’s race winner at the European Cross Country Championships reflects on a “really tough” race

Sifan Hassan was a dominant winner of the senior women s race at the European Cross Country Championships in Hy res, France, on Sunday.

She later described the race as having been “really tough”.

“Eight kilometres for me is like a marathon!” added the European 1500m champion.
